Besides, she's depicting, however wrongfully, a subculture, and
@Annd, like Manscher just said, I've seen the same in plenty of jpop vids, how is this any different?

How is blackface different from ...

Those JPOP bands are selling a crafted image of themselves. They are Japanese and also speak to a Japanese public.

And even if some of them do what you think they do, that doesn't make it right. :|

In eastern Europe, black men walk the beaches in pairs wearing grass skirts carrying a stick. They offer tourists to take pictures of them hanging upside down from the stick like a pig (cannibal style) for a quick buck.

Just because there are some sellouts willing to make a mockery of their own culture for money doesn't mean buying into it is alright.

We are talking about a specific subculture, that isn't exclusive to Japan. And no matter how wrong she depicted it in the song/music video, it's still less racist than Weird Al Yankovics "White and Nerdy", which purpose is to actually make fun of the nerd subculture.

The only difference here is that there's a bunch of members from said subculture that gets really butthurt when somebody popular and mainstream depicts it in a less than favourable way, and they starts screaming racism right away.

The exact same vision that so many JPOP bands export to the west as "Japanese culture.

I like it, it isn't as good as Kingkiller but it's still good. Personally I'm planning on starting out with the audiobook, as the book is released in America 2 days before Europe. and my Audible is on the American site :P

Yeah, it's not a bad framework, but it seems unnecessary.

In the example you provided, it would take all of 3 commands to parse the same POST contents from the headers manually (which are sent raw with the request).  In general it makes it feel like I am adopting a whole framework for just a few functions.

Also, post is oldschool, modern form submission is json, very easy to grab-and-go with node.  Co-workers are using it so I've had a lot of collaboration from them.

It was JSON exactly that caused issues when transferring with regular Node.js.

I found Express to be rather convenient when working in node.js, granted I haven't done much work there. It would save you development time. For example Node.js doesn't have a get method for the body of a POST request, so you have to manually iterate through the XHR to find it.

She is so naive, so easily manipulated. Why didn't she learn to be a bit more sceptic in season 1?

Mine have grown increasingly messy as of lately. Need to clean it up soon.

What the hell is that picture of a black screen doing on your desktop? Come on.

As I have my wallpapers on a slide show, I had to combine them.

I use it for blocking out certain parts of my stream when streaming EVE Online :p

Stalling Game Of Thrones temporarily, and starting Dresden Files.

I should read the second one. The first Dresden book was fantastic.

You really should. It just gets better and better!

Told you, it's f***ing amazing! BS Just finished up on the second book, so now it needs to go through revision, and hopefully we'll have it in the end of the year!

I'll see if we can't get to talk. I'm in California myself for the next 5 weeks, but I have wifi on the hotel and such.
