It happened the same way as before, the "lightning" is  the titan falling from the sky I think, maybe after having jumped? idk lol. It wouldn't be as surprising/shocking if he just strolled up like "Yo what up, I got a big body"

Keep in mind, in the manga, there's no lightning, so that's not it. It's a red "herring" (manga readers may pick up on another reference there).

How is everyone? I'm sincerely asking all y'all well beings.
It is that time of the year when I believe the PSP is the greatest thing since the toilet. So pretty good.

OT (not like the topic has a specific direction), but is that Kamijou in your avatar? I've just started no Index and i think i recognise him from there, but he looks a lot younger/cleaner in your avatar.

Today as I was killing some time in the cinema waiting for my next movie to start, I happened to glance at the prices there, and they are absolutely extortionary. £10.80 for a single ticket is bananas. So I was wondering what the cinema ticket prices are in your area, because I'm starting to see why downloads are on the rise.

Also Paul Scheer and June Diane Raphael are in London. I need to do some stalking.

Standard adult is around £9.40 or so in Odeon, Manchester. I pirate 99.9% of my shit.

If people are being put off by Eren's angst, don't worry, it does die down later on. Actually, wait. He is still angsty for a while, but the story shifts from him being the focus of every little thing, which is great, and i hope it's conveyed in the anime properly.

I hope so. One of the reasons I had reservations about continuing the series was how big of a twat Eren was in episode 1 and 2. The whole "holier than thou" attitude he has made me cringe. Reminds me a lot of the main character from Tales of Abyss. I just hope this series doesn't follow Tales of Abyss's route and take half the anime before the main character finds out he's being a bish to everyone.

Holier than thou? At what point does he pretend to be a saint?
He's just really obsessed with exterminating Titans.

Angst isn't bad as long as it doesn't turn into ridiculously disproportionate drama.

Maybe I used the wrong word. Maybe "he thinks he's better than everyone else"? Does that work for you?

At what point did he make it seem as though he is better than everyone else?

When he said that the weak shouldn't be in the training (not exactly the same words)? He then gets mocked when he falls on his head during his 3DM training, and he was paraphrased by the people who were doing the mocking.

No other topics? Episode 2 was awesome (#senmetsu) but episode 3 was meh compared to 2. Hopefully shit should kick in soon.
Yea it was pretty awesome how he went all beam spam on those pirates 8)
but by god the reaction to that was lame, everyone was like "oh noes he killed the poor pirates"...

That actually pissed me off, a bit like Haruto after piloting the Valvrave. I mean, get a f***ing grip guys.

When Amy called Red a baka and ran off crying because he killed the pirates without a single friendly casualty, i was rethinking my commitment to the anime, but i'm still going to carry on for i hope that the battles outweigh the petty shit. Can't wait to see what Chamber can really do.

Yeah the characters were pretty stupid in this episode. I honestly wished the MC and Shouko were actually dead, but they decided to play it too safe. I seriously wish the MC and L-elf do some cum swapping soon so when Haruto is being too pussy to kill, L-elf can take over and obliterate shit with Valvrave, which if i do remark, is an absolute monster. Can't wait to see what it can really do.

The art is gorgeous and the pacing isn't too slow, which is good. They've opted for the chronological approach (in the manga, for example, the training arc is much later than the first few chapters, but it occurred in the first episode of the anime).

The Titans looked f***ing terrifying in the anime. Nearly caught up fully with the manga, so i'm curious to see how to show some things, seeing as though they're going by a different order than the manga. Also that thunderbolt before the Colossal Titan appearing was not in the manga, but made the whole thing much cooler. I too got chills then, and also when the Titan ate Mrs. Jaeger.
