Quote
The Monogatari series centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjōgahara, who infamously never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. Despite being threatened by her, Koyomi offers his help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man who helped him stop being a vampire.

I've read everything that has been translated, all the way up to kabukimonogatari. As well as watched both seasons of the anime. :D

You can talk about anything related to the 'monogatari series in this thread. Questions, Theories, and even Shipping, are all acceptable topics.

You can have spoilers in your posts just make sure you put a clear warning before it, because we don't have spoiler tags yet.

oh, Nekomonogatari is completely translated, when did that happen?
I finished Kizumonogatari, so I could start that one now
or I'll wait for the anime, but I'm probably not that patient

God knows, if that will even air in this decade.

It reads fairly quickly, and you learn a whole lot about tsubasa.

Still waiting on Kizumonogatari...

In my opinion, yes it is better. But it took me forever to read through it, it takes a whole lot less time to finish the anime, it's a pretty well done adaptation.

I insist you give it another try, especially since you only watched the first 2 episodes.

Araragi was always the saviour, but he was really helpless without her in this one
and the pantie scene was such a life changing event for Araragi,. he had to describe it for pages :D
really interested to know more about her

I also demand you continue watching, balis

This series is a thing of beauty.

Planning on bringing my Crossover Story Thread of Monogatari and Tsukihime in this board since I have no other idea where I can put it.

So since there is going to be a nekomonogatari anime, i'm kinda unsure how they will break it up, and organize some parts. It's going to have a totally different feel because Araragi won't be the voicing over anymore, Tsubasa will.

Tsubasa doesn't care about the fourth wall lol

>SHAFT
who am i kidding, of course they can pull it off.

But what I don't think they can do is, put it all in 1 cour. Maybe they can though, (black) isn't very long, but (white) on the other hand >.<

For me, I'd just say read the LN before the anime.
Because when I watched the anime, I was seriously dumbfounded what was going on till it explained everything.

.. or that's just me.

1 cour should be more than enough for Neko (Nlack)
the next 6 volumes (Neko (White) - Koimonogatari) will be turned into a 26 ep anime

It's art.

don't get it, is that a crossover joke?

it's a height comparison chart, it was before the character designs were released....

from left to right > shinobu (7,8,9,12,14,20?) (after she ate her limbs she aged) > araragi, oshino(artist's interpretation), episode(artist's interpretation), Guilotine cutter(artist's interpretation), Dramatigue(artist's interpretation), karen (w/ araragi on her shoulders)

Lastly I believe this was the artist's interpretation of Kagenui and Ononoki?

bazett (fate/hollow ataraxia) (on top of ???? shoulders)
