Well we need to remember that the elders powers (at least the low numbers) come from a noble, so we can assume they will be weaker than a clan leader..

from what we've seen, Elders and Clan leaders are roughly equally strong and it was implied that the lower the number, the stronger they are

what I'm wondering is how that transformation can make them as strong as a clan leader WITH HIS SOULS WEAPON, considering how OP those weapons are
they only need to have a contract with a noble, which seems a bit too easy

Yeah, it seems a bit odd how a single clan leader can give a human being that much power. Then again, I have come to expect such "plot holes" in Mangas/Manwhas.

I only know that the 3 first elders are, probably, traitors (ancient clan leaders).

I reckon from clan leaders 4-9, the order of number wouldn't necessarily reflect how strong they are, I mean the numbers only show when they joined, I think, but slight reflection on strength i suppose

it would make sense if Lukedonia and the Union are roughly equal in strength, so Clan leaders=Elders
also, they were kinda able to keep up with Franken, who is as strong as a clan leader
they were weaker, but could injure him quite a lotn (and those are supposedly only the weaker ones)

The way I see it, Franken gets always injured because he likes to play with his victim..
and Franken is not as strong as a clan leader, the only reason they had to be 2 to apprehend him is because they didn't want to kill him..

I really think Lukedonia >> Union (at least for the 4+ elders..)
