I am sorry to see you go animeace, but will gladly welcome you back anytime.

---

@fino/ken, I am sorry you feel that way, and it is my fault that the site has not changed or improved in its traffic.

Ironically, V3 was the original reason I joined the inp/instantz team.  It was a bit of a mess, but the reason the site was shutdown was unrelated (and about a year after it launched).

I only launched this site because the entire community was stuck with only a skype channel to communicate.  This site was never intended to be a permanent home, even the domain was a temporary one.  I never installed SEO (and turning it on now would be too late to really accomplish anything), because I was not sure how long we would be here.

---

I'm sure everyone is growing impatient, and I apologize for not keeping everyone in-the-know.  The reason nothing has been done yet is purely a lack of free time.  The most I can do is throw out reasons/excuses and nobody wants to read that shit, so I don't bother.

To summarize the last two years, I was taking 20+ credit hours at college to finish by the end of last summer.  I did, and then I was immediately employed and moved 700 miles from my home two months ago.  While free time is visible on the horizon, I will probably not have enough until after the holidays.

Roughly 8 months ago I had completed 40% of a system that was intended to be this forums replacement, but it failed due to an architectural bug I did not notice until I had gotten that far.  I am far from perfect at my craft, especially when it comes to building large scale applications from scratch.

Additionally, in IT our field changes all the time and new technologies have emerged that have shifted my plans.  Not every user is a developer so I have not shared these plans as they are not solid yet, and I haven't had the time to sit down and translate them into non technical jargon.  If you want access to an unfiltered programmers mind I will gladly begin to share them.
