One hell of an imagination those writers got.

That they do. An episode can never be something simple like improving my golf game by two strokes.

So far still good.
I'm a sucker for alternate universes and seeing your dead selves and taking their place. Which I admit is a weird and very specific there to be a sucker for.

Yeah good ep, though now that i think about it I'm surprised you don't like Space Dandy, quite a few similarities in the shows.

I actually think Rick and Morty is one of the reasons I'm disappointed in Space Dandy. Because SD does similar things, but nowhere near as well. If I ever do watch it, it'll be if after the season's over if a lot of people view the work as a whole worthy of watching. Word of mouth sort of deal from a lot of different sources. Right now I'm with the people I know who find it underwhelming.

Space Dandy has had a lot of hits and misses in just the few episodes it's got so far.

Rick & Morty has yet to even get a single strike with me :D

More on the latest episode.
I love how they addressed the whole love potion trope. Rick called out how creepy Morty was for essentially wanting to roofie a girl. The show did not let him get away with that and it is so so so damn refreshing for a show to think about the consequences of the actions of the characters.

I wonder if Morty's PTSD from this whole episode will carry over to the next. Really excited about where they're going with it.

I don't know about Justin's other work, but the Harmon half of the co-creators make me think it'll at least be addressed in some sort of dialogue for the purposes of a joke or the weight of all the trauma being a main focus of a future episode. Like Community sets up things to use so much later down the line. So far it seems this crop of writers on the staff would be people who would address it.

I hope so, it would be a shame to just swipe it under the rug. I hope this'll also make them elaborate on the relationship between Rick and Morty.

Also rejoice! http://splitsider.c...-morty-for-season-2/

Yup heard about that^. It's doing super well in the ratings so AS would have to be crazy not to renew.

Welcome to club. This show, Brooklyn Nine Nine, and Broad City are three freshman comedies that have come out the gate feeling more well formed than most new shows.

I watched the first episode today during uni with my headphones on, I was giggling like a bitch in the corner of the room and my friends gave me awkward looks, I then watched the second episode. I really like it!
"Blam! Murdered you"
