Shutting Down on 6/30

Hello Friends,

It's been a long time since I actively did anything, both for the site or with the community.

I'm attempting to consolidate servers to reduce my overhead, and since the version of SMF is ancient it wouldn't be a simple matter of migrating to a new box.

As such, I'm planning to shut down the servers at the end of the month.

I apologize for any trouble this causes, and wish the best to everyone who was marooned here for as long as it stood.

An end of era huh? Well I guess it's been years already since people stopped posting on forums, most already moved on to using modern social media platforms, and given that this place has been dead for so long, it's really impressive that this place has stayed here till now, so yea it's definitely time to call it quits I guess. Thanks for everything.

I knew that eventually this day would come. Thank you CD for all you've done to help keep us together. Hard to believe our heyday was 13 years ago. I was so much younger then! And I have lots of fond memories of all most of you. Maybe someday we'll meet by accident and we can ask the question, "Have you ever heard of INP?"

Sad news to see when I finally manged to come back online again. I really appreciate everything you did for us Cd and keeping this time capsule of ours afloat for so long.

Tho it was brief i'd like to think we made some impact especially the manga team! We did some great work especially dioz, kuro, ferret. Mahou Gyoushounin Roma was a great little series.

I really enjoyed my time with inp and seo it was a great escape for my teenage years. I will miss you all but like Rukia said at the ending of Bleach

10 years later bleach anime returns and so will we!

Sadly but yea, it's true, I remember joining inp in my teenage years as well and can't believe I miss being a student as well when i don't have much responsibilities and burdens in life. My back starts to hurt now, I feel like my body is aging although I still consider my age still young to have this health issue.

I can def relate. i've been working at a warehouse for the last three years and feels more like 20. The money is good but it's just brutal on my body and any free time I have I spend it sleeping. Now im just getting to the point of be able to balance everything.

I met an older man (mid-60's is my guess) at a non-profit where I volunteer and was surprised to find out he watches anime. He watches on Crunchyroll whereas I always watched streaming for free. I imagine that will be us several decades from now when we bump into each other in a nursing home. "Have you ever heard of INP?" "Yes, my username was Astro."
